Her agent might have turned down the opportunity on her behalf and without her knowledge. Glen Larson chose her initially and sent her a preliminarily written script. She was to appear in the television series Battlestar Galactica, which aired beginning in 1978. The actress initially refused the role because she felt that the character wasn't strong enough. Glen then wrote her the role with a more powerful character, Sheba. The Living Legend was accepted after she read the first 25-page script. The program ran for one episode. The actress was in Joyride in a film from 1977 co-starring Desi Arnaz Jr. Melanie Griffith Robert Carradine (son Desi Arnaz Jr. Lucille and Lucille) in addition to with Robert Carradine. In 1987 she co-starred alongside Michael Moriarty and The Dark Tower.
